Back on that Venezuela, socialist tangent, the guy I spoke to told me that one weekend, friday to sunday, the had like 70 some odd murders. Obviously that's a record, but the norm is around 50. Now I ask, what kind of shit is that? Imagine waking up one monday in NOLA to hear that 50 folks had been murdered. What a mind fuck that would be. Things are never as bad as they seem. And this morning I sit in a crowded dental clinic waiting to be seen and feeling lucky that I can, because I can't afford insurance or private care. I suppose clinics are socialist by nature, but would I trade good teeth for the right to ride around in my cadillac? I'm not sure. Responsible me says yes, but when I had two stacks to burn, I bought a cadillac instead of a root canal and crown. Whatever that means.
