there's only one day left...

i once made a new years resolution to not make anymore new years resolutions. its the only one Ive ever kept.

with the end of the calendar year quickly approaching though, its impossible to not look back and wonder what we've done wrong. and right. here's ten for both, in no particular order:

wrong-
10: failed to release a full length album
9: failed to start a savings account
8: have not repaid a cent of my student loans
7: murdered several chickens and ate them
6: still have not settled my beef with usher
5: still can't squash my ego
4: still haven't finished the metu neter
3: can't keep the 7 hermetic principles memorized
2: bought way too many pairs of dunks
1: went to go see boondock saints 2

right:
10: finally performed at the h.o.b.
9: rocked with killah priest
8: bought a Cadillac
7: made a friend
6: let go of the past (or at least tried to.....am trying to)
5: got a sleeve
4: discovered hallucinogens
3: kicked my sweet tea habit
2: lost weight
1: went on wwoz

and since this seems to be the season of list, here's a few more:

things i lost in 2009
1: Marvin dumes, Louise thomas, etc...
2: my last bit of faith in the two party system
3: my fear of being myself (or at least tried to.....am trying to)
4: patience and respect for rappers who go to jail

1: doing a show while tripping balls

3: first ride in my caddy

goals for next year:
1: less talk, more action
2: live free or die trying
3: a European tour. or any tour for that matter...
